The Executive Committee runs the Club’s daily business. It is elected by the Membership Assembly for a one-year term (July to June). The Committee consists of seven elected officers (in order of seniority): President, Vice President Education, Vice President Membership, Vice President Public Relations, Secretary, Treasurer and Sergeant at Arms. The Immediate Past President is an ex officio (unelected) member.

President

The President is the highest ranking official of Professional Speakers Frankfurt. He or she leads the Executive Committee and supervises the operations of the Club. Together with the VP Education, the President legally represents the Club. The President is a member of the Area Council and the District Council.

Vice President Education

The VP Education schedules members’ speeches and projects and serves as a resource for questions about education awards, speech contests, and the mentor program. As the second-ranking official, the VP Education legally represents the Club together with the President. The VP Education is a member of the Area Council and the District Council.

Vice President Membership

The VP Membership, the third-ranking officer, handles all aspects of membership, including measures to retain existing members and gain new ones. He or she also acts as the primary point of contact for guests and is a member of the Area Council.

Vice President Public Relations

The VP Public Relation develops and directs the external communication of the Club, including the website, social media, the newsletter, and offline communication.

Secretary

The Secretary maintains all Club records, manages club files, handles club correspondence, and takes the minutes at each Club and Executive Committee meeting.

Treasurer

As the Club’s accountant, the Treasurer collects dues, executes payments, and maintains the financial records.

Sergeant at Arms

The Sergeant at Arms is in charge of the Club’s physical property and our venues (both online and offline).

Immediate Past President

The Immediate Past President acts mainly as an advisor to the new officers.
