Toastmasters Speech Contests
Every year, Toastmasters International organizes a series of speech contests, where Toastmasters can compete against each other. As a member of Professional Speakers Frankfurt you can compete in the following six contests:

International Speech Contest: give a five-to-seven-minute speech on any subject in English

German Speech Contest: give a five-to-seven-minute speech on any subject in German

Evaluation Contest English: observe a five-to-seven-minute test speech and then present a two-to three-minute evaluation of the test speech in English

Evaluation Contest German: observe a five-to-seven-minute test speech and then present a two-to three-minute evaluation of the test speech in German

Table Topics Contest English: give a one-to-two-minute impromptu speech in English on a topic you are told when you come up on stage

All contests begin on the Club level. Winners move to the Area, Division, and District contests. The International Speech Contest continues to the World Championship of Public Speaking held every year at the Toastmasters International Convention.
Club contests are generally held in January or February each year with Area, Division, and District contests following between March and May. The International Convention is usually held in August.
Contests at Professional Speakers
Professional Speakers usually holds English-language club contests for the International Speech Contest, Evaluation contest, and Table Topics contest. In addition, we nominate members who compete in the German Speech Contest as well as the German Evaluation and Table Topic contests.
Past Club successes
- 2019: three contestants in the District contest (4th level): German Speech Contest, English Evaluation Contest, and German Evaluation Contest.
- 2021: two contestants in the Division contest (3rd level): German Speech Contest, English Evaluation Contest
